Gold and Purple Smokey Eye

Description:
Decided to do this look out nowhere, mainly boredom. Pictures do not do this look justice! It consists of a rich medium purple in the inner and outer corners. A little black as well. Then a pop of gold in the center of the lid. Same for the bottom lash line. As for the face I went for a bronze, glowy look with a nude lip.

Sorry for the bad quality.

How I achieved this eye look:
  1. I first took my concealer as a base and to cover up any veins peeking through my eyelid.
  2. I then took the eye shadow "Tease" from the Naked 2 Palette and put it in my crease as a transition shade to help with a smooth gradient effect.
  3. Taking the color "Half Baked" from the same palette I put that strictly in the center of my lid to act as a guide for the purple eye shadow.
  4. Then taking the darkest shade out of the first Maybelline palette I placed it in the inner and outer third of my eyelid lightly blending it in my crease. Blend, blend, blend!
  5. I went back and forth with "Half Baked" and the purple shade due to the lost of intensity while blending the two.
  6. To add a little bit more depth I added a dark purple from the second Maybelline palette to the outer parts of my eye, as well as my crease.
  7. For my bottom lash line I added the same colors to correspond with the shadows on top.
  8. I took my eyeliner and barely smudge it on the outer part of my eye to act as a guide for my false eyelashes.
  9. To prep my eyelashes I curled my lashes and added the Maybelline Great Lash Mascara to the top and bottom.
  10. Then I took my Cherry Blossom lashes with my LashGrip Adhesive and glued them on.
  11. To get a sharper line on the outer edge of my eye shadow, I just clean it up with some concealer.
